Central Alberta Programmers/Tech/IT for Hire

I meet a lot of great programmers, technologists, IT folks and data people through the meetup, and many of them are looking for work. If you are hiring locally — or you are elsewhere in Alberta and want remote people in your time zone — this page is for you.

Looking to hire?

Ask me at a meetup or message the group and I will share job postings with the community. Local candidates already want to live here, which saves a lot of the relocation guesswork.

Available for hire

The list is a shared spreadsheet. It is maintained by the people on it, so it is only as fresh as they keep it.

• Central Alberta tech people available to hire — A shared list of local programmers, DB and IT people open to work.
• Add yourself to the list — In Central Alberta and looking for tech work? Add your details.

Please only add yourself if you are in or moving to Central Alberta — this is not a sponsorship or relocation board.

• Technology Alberta job board — Alberta tech roles, including remote-friendly ones.
• Red Deer Polytechnic — Co-op programs and continuing education.
• Come to a meetup — The most reliable local job board is a room full of people who know each other.

Take the next step

Reading is cheap; showing up once and talking to someone is what actually moves it ahead. Come to a meetup and bring whatever you are working on or stuck on. No pitch, no sign-up, no sales — peers over beers.
